The firm
JMCG Advisory Ltd is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands under company number 2215721, with a registered office in Road Town, Tortola and a working office in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
The firm was established to serve a specific need. A growing number of Southeast Asian companies are large enough and profitable enough to interest U.S. investors, but have no internal experience of what a U.S. listing demands — and no easy way to tell a realistic plan from an optimistic pitch. JMCG Advisory exists to give those companies an adviser whose only interest is whether the transaction is right for them and whether it is properly prepared.
We do not underwrite, audit, or give legal advice. We assess, structure, coordinate and project-manage, and we work alongside the licensed professionals a listing requires.

Four commitments
An honest answer first
Our first deliverable is an assessment, not a proposal. If the business is not ready, or a U.S. listing is not the right route for what the owner is trying to achieve, that is the more valuable finding.
Preparation before promotion
We would rather spend a year making a company genuinely ready than begin a process that stalls in diligence. The work that determines success happens well before any filing.
One coordinated team
Auditors, counsel, underwriters and registrars each do their own work well. Someone has to hold the timetable, chase the dependencies and keep the board informed. That is our role.
Plain language throughout
Owners should be able to understand every material decision in their own transaction. We explain in ordinary English and we put the trade-offs in writing.

Jaylvin Chan is the Executive Director of JMCG Advisory Ltd.
He is a Chartered Accountant C.A.(M) and an ASEAN CPA. He has served as Chief Financial Officer of a Nasdaq-listed company, and has held a senior finance role at a company pursuing a Nasdaq IPO. His work has spanned corporate structuring, audit readiness under U.S. standards, regulatory filing support, transaction documentation and communication with investors and professional advisers.
He advises founders and boards on whether a U.S. listing fits their objectives, what the business must do to become ready, and how to run the process without losing sight of the operating company underneath it.
Professional relationships across eight jurisdictions
A cross-border listing needs people on the ground in several places at once. JMCG works with an established network of independent professional firms — auditors, counsel, corporate service providers and market participants — in the jurisdictions most often involved in a U.S. listing by a Southeast Asian group.

Each relationship is with an independent professional firm, engaged directly by the client on its own terms. What JMCG brings is knowing which firm to approach in which jurisdiction, and holding them to one timetable once they are appointed.
